No. Rooms are specifically designed for single layouts and cannot accommodate a double bed.

If you require a specialised bed or mattress for verified medical reasons, you must apply to WSA Management with supporting documentation from your healthcare provider. If approved, please note that a storage fee applies for the default WSA furniture, alongside a labour charge for its removal and eventual replacement.

No fangs, fur, feathers, or scales please! Pets are strictly prohibited across the complex, though small goldfish may be considered on application. If family members visit with a pet, the animal must remain outside the buildings and be suitably restrained at all times.

Certified service and support animals are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You must provide official registration paperwork and medical recommendations from your healthcare provider attesting that the animal is essential to your well-being. Approval is determined with the health and safety of the entire WSA community in mind and is not guaranteed.

Strictly NO. Cooking, smoking, and vaping are completely prohibited inside all individual resident rooms.

  • Cooking: For fire safety, appliances like rice cookers, air fryers, electric kettles, toaster ovens, and hot plates must only be used in the Building A Ground Floor Commercial Kitchen. Common kitchenettes in Buildings B & C are limited to microwaves and toasters (no rice cookers or air fryers allowed).

  • Smoking/Vaping: WSA is a smoke-free environment. Smoking/vaping is banned in all indoor areas, walkways, balconies, and stairwells. You must use the designated outdoor grassed smoking zones.

Violation Penalty: If you are caught cooking, smoking, or vaping in your room, you will be issued an immediate AUD$100.00 fine and a formal written warning. Continued breaches will result in the immediate termination of your accommodation contract.

Yes. A fully equipped laundry room is located on the ground floor of all three buildings, featuring coin-operated washing machines, clothes dryers, and folding tables. Each building hooks directly into an outdoor drying yard with ample clotheslines. Residents must supply their own detergent and pegs. Change for coins is available at WSA Reception during regular office hours.

WSA operates as a secure, fully fenced, gated community. Key card access is required at all three boundary entry gates and all main building doors. Your electronic key card grants access to common perimeter gates and your assigned room only.

  • Propping gates or entry doors open is strictly prohibited.

  • CCTV & Patrols: Carparks and communal perimeters are well-lit and monitored continuously via CCTV. Professional security guards conduct active night patrols every evening at 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM.

  • Key Security: Lost or damaged key cards must be reported to administration immediately. A replacement fee of AUD$100.00 applies if security assist you with an after-hours lockout, and a AUD$50.00 fee applies for a replacement card.

Day visitors are welcome, but no overnight guests are permitted without prior written approval from WSA Management.

To host a guest overnight, you must complete a registration application at WSA Reception and submit a copy of your guest’s valid ID. Approved stays are strictly capped at a maximum of two nights. Allowing an un-registered non-resident access to the secure compound bypassing this system constitutes a severe security breach and will result in the immediate termination of your contract.

  • Life-Threatening Emergencies: Immediately call 000 for Police, Ambulance, or Fire & Rescue services.

  • Fire Alarms: All building alarms automatically dispatch Fire & Rescue NSW. If an alarm sounds, you are legally required to evacuate to the designated assembly points immediately, regardless of the time of day.

    • Note: If a fire alarm is triggered falsely or maliciously, Fire & Rescue NSW levies a false-alarm fee of approximately AUD$2,000.00. This charge will be billed directly to the responsible resident or split across the entire floor if no individual comes forward.

  • Mental Health Support: If you are struggling, anxious, or in crisis, confidential help is available 24/7:

    • Wisdom Wellbeing Helpline: 1800 719 887
